In order to arouse students’interest in learning English and enrich our school life,our English club held an Englishspeech contest themed Read for the Future last week.Hundreds of us took part in it.

As scheduled,students gathered at the assembly hall at 2 pm on Tuesday.After the hosts introduced the topic andjudges,15 competitors delivered their speeches in turn,which were well received by the audience.They were graded onthe language,outline,as well as performance,and were awarded accordingly.
